Atomic Coffee Roasters began cold brewing with multiple 5 gallon buckets and quickly realized that it wasn't scalable. That's when they decided to ramp up production by brewing on in five 50-gallon Cold Brew Avenue cold brew systems.
Using Cold Brew Avenue 50-gallon Cold Brew Systems, Atomic was able to scale up and prove their concept. They now operate a 15,000 square foot cold brewery capable of producing over 1,000 gallons of cold brew per day.
We wanted to scale by brewing larger batches
We wanted to scale in larger batches as we had multiple 5-gallon buckets we were using and it was not scalable using them. We'd need to use fifty 5-gallon buckets to produce what we were able to produce in five 50-gallon systems.
Stainless steel vs. plastic was a no brainer
Our prior method of brewing in 5-gallon buckets was not scalable, plus we also wanted a safer way to scale and stainless steel vs. plastic was a no brainer.
